The German name for this is hyaluronic acid. The main function is similar to the effects of PANTHENOL and SODIUM HYALURONATE, but has an additional effect by not only binding the moisture of the skin, but also increasing the water content of the skin.

This active ingredient, which we use for our skin care cosmetics, is generally used for eye care, lip care and face creams. In human medicine, hyaluronic acid preparations are injected into arthrosis-damaged joints and are also used in nasal sprays and eye drops.

Hyaluronic acid is a so-called glycosaminoglycan, a long-chain linear polysaccharide that is an important component of connective tissue and also plays an important role in various cell processes. It is a body component of the extracellular matrix (EZM) of vertebrates and occurs in many tissues (including vitreous swine bodies of the eye). Hyaluronic acid is also a major component of joint fluid and acts as a lubricant for all joint movements.

The molecular weight of hyaluronic acid varies between 0.5 and 20 million daltons depending on the method of manufacture. It has the ability to bind very large amounts of water (up to six litres of water per gram) in terms of mass. Already in 1 percent aqueous solutions of hyaluronic acid, a viscoelastic network is formed by intermolecular ball formation, which binds the water firmly. Hyaluronic acid is highly recommended for skin care as it forms an invisible air-permeable film that protects the skin’s layer from drying out even at relatively low humidity.

Hyaluronic acid preparations are also used in aesthetic surgery for wrinkle injection, modeling and enlargement of the lips (spraying), for skin refreshment or for the construction of facial contours. Depending on the stabilization of hyaluronic acid, the effect thus obtained is maintained for about 6 to 12 months.

Argireline is defined as a chain of six amino acids that both reduces the degree of existing wrinkles and effectively counteracts their formation in a proven manner. It is the only anti-wrinkle peptide with clinically proven effect, studies and laser measurements have shown that elixirs and creams containing argireline can sustainably reduce the depth of wrinkles by up to half.

It is a very well combinable product and is used externally. The peptide acts gently, does not need to be injected and does not cause any toxic reactions. Argireline is thus the non-toxic, safe and mild alternative to botulinum toxin A, and focuses on the same wrinkle-forming mechanism, but in different ways.

Argireline does not cause a complete shutdown of the muscles, but only an effective and thus significantly mitigating of the facial expressions. The face does not appear masquerade, but relaxed and very naturally rejuvenated.

German names are dexpanthenol, pantothenyl alcohol, provitamin B5. The main functions of these ingredients in our cosmetics are skin care, moisturizing and maintain the skin in good condition.

Panthenol is the precursor of the B vitamin (provitamin B5) and is used in products for sensitive skin due to its excellent skin compatibility. It is a viscous, colourless, slightly sticky substance with a subtly characteristic smell. Panthenol dissolves very well in water and alcohol. Panthenol has moisture-preserving, skin-soothing and regenerative properties, enhances the protective barrier function of the skin and improves its elasticity.

The German name for this is sodium hyaluronate (sodium salt of hyaluronic acid). The main function of this ingredient in our cosmetics is the donation and binding of moisture. Basis for a good condition of the skin with freshness.

The German name for this is ethylhexylglycerin; 3-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,2-propandiol. The main effect of this substance is a protective skin care. In surgical use, ethylhexylglycerin is also used as a disinfectant for hands. In our cosmetics, ethylhexylglycerin is a combinable substance that effectively supports the other active ingredients that contain them.
